The first line ever uttered by one of my comic book heroes, Heath Huston from Fear Agent. I started reading comics in 2008, despite being 33 years old and arriving late to the party. I’ve become engrossed and addicted to this medium and can’t get enough.
Fear Agent, Y: The Last Man and Blankets have been some of my favorite graphic novels I’ve read so far.

Not for a while. Read an interview with the new writer and he said he’s going to make it action-packed and less “social commentary,” which doesn’t do much for me. :-) I’ll resubscribe in the future, I’m sure. In the mean time I still have Detective Comics.

yeah, didn’t click with me. I liked the art of the main one but the story sorta confused me, then the Origins one, I didn’t really like the art, heh…

The Road is amazing, I actually bought a copy for my dad for Xmas. I though The Walking Dead would take that route, but Kirkman swears otherwise.
yeah, both “SI Dark Reign” and “Dark Reign New Nation” are one shots, hey shipped and showed no pending issues so I cleaned them out… :)

not much, again some cleaning up. Of all the ones I unsubbed from, only three were real cuts, the other were either minis (SI and such) or one shots that had all shipped. Of the real, I cut Mighty Avengers, which I had been reading since #1, only because it didn’t appeal to me anymore. Sinec Bendis is leaving it with #20 which just shipped, it was time to cut it.

Yeah, I have to cut back for a bit, but I’m hoping to be back and get everything I missed by mid-Januray or so.

I’d also recommend Daddyplace.com as a good place to meet and connect with other dads, ask questions, get advice, etc…It’s been a big help to me for the last year-ish
Hang in there with the baby – mine will be a year old next month and the first few weeks and months are definitely the hardest, but it’s definitely well worth it and starts to get better around the 6 month mark…
LOL! It’s was only a bunch of minis or one shots that were done. I find it easier to manage one shots by subscribing to them than by ordering separately. Every once in a while I delete the subs. :)
