I am a Release Engineer in a Bay Area mobile software firm, I make sure code goes where it’s meant and does what it’s told.

When the sky gets dark and I go home, I play video games and Laugh at angry people who take Halo too seriously.

I take photos and put them online.

I like penguins, tomatoes, and acorns.

And zombies.

I am a silly.

Tyler says:

why did you break it, blue_j?

Dana says:

Haha I had a spider bite on the back of my leg that was quite a horror! I won’t go into details.

As for Death Note, I really wish I could have seen it on the big screen. Oh well, I guess the DVD will have to do. Thanks for your comment :)

If it’s cooler here, I fear for you. I’m inside hiding from the heat, and it’s 7:30 am.

Hehehe. You know, I’m tempted. The Internet tells me it’s 20 degrees cooler there than it is here. :)

Also: I need a freaking vacation.

Andy M. says:

I saw your latest sketch blog, and all I could think about was Gordito’s mustache. Boo Ghost Wizards. Yay McNinjas!

Is your MacBook still under Warranty? Both times that my MagSafe died on me I just handed it to the nearest Genius Bar and got a replacement.

Thanks for the complements. And Yay for Dr. McNinja!

Andy M. says:

Hi Blu J! I was just checking out some of your pictures (clearly I am bored at work). I noticed you had a problem with your MacBook power adapter. I need to go buy a new one AGAIN. But mine gets tweaked right where it connects to the computer. I love the computer, but I hate the dumb cord. Also candid portraits were awesome, as was the Irish bub with the tiki statue. Nice pics!

daynah says:

Have you bought you plane ticket? I wanna know if we can make the matinee. :D

daynah says:

Hmm I’ll have to take that advice…

Twitter pic is 17-year-old me with a fake mustache in costume for a high-school play. HeavyInk pic, though, is a nice candid close-up of 22-year-old me at a cafe.

I use the cafe pic in social network profiles because it’s a great shot and you can still see my face even when it’s resized and tiny. I use the mustache in twitter and flickr because random giant mustaches are awesome.

Everyone needs a photo with a giant fake mustache. Everyone.

daynah says:

Your twitter picture looks NOTHING like your heavyink picture. Explain. GO!

Tyler says: Whoa! I didn't know that shirt.woot existed. I've been addicted to Woot for quite a while, but shirt.woot is news to me.
Matt says: I'm your friend. Is that creepy? I just friended folks who seem like they'll be blogging here and have interesting things to say. Also, you're SO CUTE OMG.
blue_j says: Also: Thanks for the heads-up on the friending. Looks like HI doesn't tell you when you've been friended, so I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise. (I wonder if I'm anyone else's friend)
blue_j says: @Todd: Yeah, I was pretty much underwhelmed by the latest New Avengers arc, myself. Seems like the Plot jumped around too much without any real payoff... but I'm sure things'll pick-up when this Skrull business leads into the Secret Invasion. I should give it a re-read before I damn the last six issues to hell. (That Mighty Avengers crossover didn't help things, IMHO... the "New" guys rushed out to help the "Mighty" ones .months. ago... and Mighty isn't getting around to their side of things until next week)
TJIC says: Good to hear that the packages are getting where they're going so quickly...thanks for that info!
Todd Michael R. says: And we are now friends.
Todd Michael R. says: I love New Avengers, this arc isn't "doing it" for me as much as some of the others, but Wolverine fighting The Hood was a lot of fun.
blue_j says: Never heard of it.. but now that I .have., I'll keep an eye out. thanks for the recommendation.
Todd Michael R. says: Marvel for life. As for recommendations, have your read Earthboy Jacobus? It is top 5, Sir.
blue_j says: Yeah, It'd be nice to do some simple HTML formatting in blog entries, but I'll use the miniblog's own rich-texty button things 'til then. What would -Really- be nice, though, was if I could edit posts, or at least delete them so I could replace'm with something prettier. (oh, and for the record: the HTML in my post rendered fine in RSS, it's only on the site that looks like this)
TJIC says: Doah...looks like the HTML you put in your miniblog didn't render correctly...I'll make a note of that and see if we can fix it.
