Comic Book News did a really nice write up on Marlow, “The story was an action packed zombie-fied thriller. This story seemed to be an excellent blend of Jason Bourne, mixed with Weapon X/Wolverine.”

Comics and Other Imaginary Tales gave us probably the most critical review so far. I wanted to share it with you, because, as I’ve noted before in interviews, Marlow may not be for everyone. With that said, the review wasn’t deadly, just poignant.
Here it is:
“Overall Grade B: My final word on this book is that for $5, you could do a lot worse. It does entertain, and it does make you think.”
I’ve only spoken with Jim a few times over email, and I have to say I appreciate his candor. With that said, I (personally) feel like he could have read the book a bit more closely, but can’t fault him for his personal tastes.
Well, we’re just now starting to get our first reviews in on Marlow, and we’re really humbled by some of the feedback. David Hopkins of Fanboy Radio fame, and writer of such great stories as Emily Edison, Astronaut Dad, and Karma Incorporated described Marlow as “incredible”. Jazma Online just gave the book 4/5 stars. And we’re expecting a number of other reviews soon.
Here are the links to the reviews if you’re inclined to check them out:
Hope you find the reviews at least helpful. We’ll post more as they come in.
