The concept of the “Superhero” has been always been very interesting to me. Batman overall has been one of my favorites, maybe because he rises to such a status without having super powers, albeit, he does have lots of money for super tools.

Interestingly, since the Knightfall series, I have come to actually find Azrael more interesting to me than Batman. It seems that in spite of DC comics creating him to be HATED, no matter what they did, they made him (I think) effectly BETTER than Batman!

The whole concept of the “Superhero,” especially in terms of Messianic symbolism, is very interesting to me, and I actually am working on writing an article about aspects related to this.
