I’m a Graphic Technician in the Midwest. Comics are my guilty pleasure, but I also love movies, reading, shopping, taking pictures, going on vacation, weekends, going to new restaurants, going to restaurants, flea markets, antique shops, clothes shops, shoe shops, jewelry shops, shopping, auctions, the internet, cooking, baking, biking, playing with my cats, playing music, playing games, playing.
The usual stuff. Not too picky. Life’s too short.

I just went an bought the variant from mycomicshop i figure its worth it for batman to pay the extra shipping
Just FYI mycomicshop.com puts out there variants in about 2 hours from now. If HI doesn’t put out batmans I plan on buying one there. Its my fall back, but you have to pay full price.
So if I am a regular subscriber will I get the variant?

Yes, mine shipped. That happens sometimes when a title sells out. HI will send the variants to regular subscribers to fill the orders. It’s happened to me to. It sucks

Yeah I noticed that the Secret Six and Gotham City Sirens will be no more =(. Also, no more Power Girl! WTF? I’m hoping she’ll make an appearance in the Justice League International Series. I’m definitely looking forward to Justice League and JLA Dark, Action Comics, Detective, Mister Terrific and Catwoman. All in all, I’m just really stoked and I think it’s incredibly brave of DC to make such a bold move. I’ll probably end up picking up all 52 titles, just to say I was a part of history =P.

However, it is at the top of the pile, so it will get read soon. It looks great! I’m not sure what to make of Jake Ellis and I’m not sure Jake knows what’s going on either. I don’t think he’s Jon’s imagination, though. I wish you would post on the forums more. It is a great opportunity to talk about comics. I hope to see you there.
My roommate and I are wondering if Jake Ellis is simply a delusion that Jon is having, but that would be way too easy lol. What did you think of Batgirl #17? I really need to start getting more active on the HeavyInk forums, I love talking comics way too much lol. Have you visited Comic Vine yet? It’s a pretty awesome website for people that are way too steeped in comic books for their own good lol
I am SO far behind on reading. I have fail the “Blast” rule as I now have 5 or 6 issues of almost every title Iam currently subbing to piled up in two shipping boxes. :-( But I may get to the SS Tpb tonight.
Hi Bast, peace and joy! I have not been reading the forums latly and now Im glad I have not.
Anyway I am on a monthly shipment and my next shipment is Feb2 But I will not open the box until Feb 11. I will be 50 on that day. My Secret TPB will be in that shipment :-)
I appreciated your comment on the “So…um..Travis?” Forum. I agree. I will not be leaving Heavy Ink either.
Ah thats soooo, funny i went to UWM for a couple semesters after highschool. Im at UWO right now tho, unfortunatly this is my 5th year, and no degree in sight :(

Cool beans! Vol. 1 is very good but the story definitely gets better as it goes. Vol. 3 is really great. Unwritten is awesome too. It didn’t quite hook me at first but by #5 I was locked in.

Just read “Return”, and it was pretty good. I’m curious as to what it is that is pulling Bruce through time, so I’ll stick around for the duration. I’m not a big crossover fan, but the last 2 I read, Blackest Night and Siege, were really well done.

As far as the tickets, is it cheaper to order online? I don’t know if I can afford to pay for it right now.
As far as staying overnight or driving, it’s up to you. Lemme research the site some more so I know what I’m talking about better. ;-)

Okay, let’s wait until at least 4:45. I’m in Milwaukee too, remember? Hell, I could just buy it and you could pick it up from me, heh. Seriously though, as long as Andy doesn’t start generating shipments, we’ll be fine. So let’s wait until 4:45 if we can.
Okay, the only way to do this is to have a time when you know it’s going to drop, but nobody else does. I think we should wait until Haunt and some other stuff is gone so less people are around. Otherwise, I can drop it when you only know. For example I’ll say 10 minutes exactly from now or something. It’s up to you.
